Welcome to Highland Park High School

The second half of this school year is underway and our students continue their efforts in class while the Class of 2017 looks forward to graduation in June!

Our Winter sports teams are nearing the end of their seasons and our Girls and Boys Basketball Teams, Wrestling, and Winter Track teams have all experienced some big wins!

Our Band, Orchestra, and Choir are preparing for their spring concerts and competitions, and the production of Hairspray, our spring musical, is underway.

Both DECA and our Model UN/Congress programs continue to be successful as DECA prepares for state and national competition and the Model UN club prepares for a trip to the Mexico City International Model UN conference in March.

Our counselors will be meeting with students during February and March to plan schedules for 2017-18.  Students and parents/guardians are encouraged to review our Program Planning guide fully in order to make the best decisions for course selections.  Please continue to take full advantage of Naviance accounts to make post-secondary school plans and set goals for college and/or careers as well.

Remember that we are the OWLS, and our mission is for each of our students to demonstrate Openness, Wisdom, Leadership, and Spirit as they prepare for college, future careers, and active participation in society.  We are dedicated to serving our students and guiding them as they fulfill this mission.
